Astek Sweden is seeking a hands-on Power Electronics System Engineer in Gothenburg to own system design and requirements engineering for the inverter, driving vehicle-level requirements down to components and coordinating HW/SW interfaces.
You will work in a cross-functional team on traction inverter development for EVs, bringing a strong background in power electronics and experience with Matlab/Simulink and Carweaver.
We are recruiting on behalf of a leading OEM in the electrified vehicle space. They are looking for a hands‑on Power Electronics System Engineer with a strong background in traction inverter development — ideally from a Tier‑1 automotive supplier.
You will own system design and requirements engineering for the inverter — the core component responsible for converting DC from the battery pack to AC for the traction motor. Working in a cross‑functional team, you will drive requirements from vehicle level down to component, managing both hardware and software interfaces.
