Job summary

KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm invites applications for a postdoc in soundscape engineering and acoustic metamaterials within the SMILE project. Qualifications

• PhD or equivalent degree by start date.
• Research in soundscape, psychoacoustics, environmental acoustics or related fields.
• Experience with soundscape methods and perceptual modelling.
• Strong publication record and English communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop models and design methods for acoustic metamaterials and metasurfaces.
• Use simulation and data-driven optimization.
• Contribute to listening tests and VR-based soundscape evaluation.
• Publish results and contribute to coordination and supervision.
