Job summary

Karolinska Institutet in Solna invites applications for a postdoctoral scholarship to uncover novel therapeutic targets and differentiation strategies in MYC-driven tumors. The project uses hiPSC-based models, differentiation strategies, and drug screening to study tumor development and therapeutic response.

The successful candidate will lead experimental design, data analysis and interpretation, and will collaborate with national and international partners.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Biomedical Science or related field
• Solid background in cancer biology
• Experience with tumor metabolism, cancer cell signalling, or target identification is relevant
• Familiar with molecular biology techniques including PCR, cloning, Western blotting
• Experience with hiPSC-based models, 3D cell culture, and omics sample preparation
• Fluency in English is required
• Independent but collaborative in a team environment
• In vivo studies in mice are advantageous

• Lead experimental design, execution and troubleshooting

• Contribute to presentation and publication of results
• Collaborate with national and international partners
• Provide supervision or mentoring of students is desirable
