Job summary

The Högberg lab at Karolinska Institutet in Solna seeks a postdoctoral researcher to advance computational molecular programming using DNA nanotechnology, molecular networks and DNA data storage. You will develop algorithms, models and software to design self‑assembling nanostructures and to map molecular networks to imaging data, while exploring robust information storage in DNA.

Qualifications

• PhD in a relevant field is required.

Responsibilities

• Design and simulate self-assembling DNA nanostructures and molecular machines.
• Turn artificial molecular networks into images by reconstructing molecular locations from sequencing data.
• Encode, store and retrieve digital information in DNA with robust molecular data operations.
• Enable molecules to sense environment and act under defined conditions.
