A leading agricultural university in Sweden is offering a postdoctoral position focused on forest genetics. The successful candidate will develop high-throughput molecular markers and study population genetics in conifers. The group focuses on developing high‑throughput molecular markers (SNP arrays) for forest breeding, and also studies population genetics and gene family evolution in conifers. The research methods employed include genomics, bioinformatics, microarray hybridization, and proteomics.
The position is full‑time for two years, starting in the fall of 2009.
