Job summary

Capgemini Engineering in Sweden is seeking an experienced PLM Windchill SIM Developer or Solution Architect to contribute to architectural design and ensure alignment with business needs throughout project lifecycles. The role spans delivery and pre-sales activities, including customer discovery and stakeholder engagement, with remote work possible across Sweden.

The ideal candidate has a university degree in CS or Engineering, strong Windchill experience, and proficiency in English.

Qualifications

• University degree, preferably in Computer Science or Engineering.
• Demonstrated expertise in developing and deploying solutions based on Windchill.
• Experience with Windchill SIM, Arbortext Publishing Engine and Arbortext Content Delivery is a merit.
• Excellent communication skills in English (oral and written).

Responsibilities

• Lead a team delivering development, configuration, customization, technical design, code review and release validation on production environments.
• Produce specifications and contribute to PLM system configuration.
• Identify risks and propose solutions to key stakeholders.
• Support pre-sales efforts, including custom solution presentations and budget proposals.

Your Role

We’re looking for experienced PLM Windchill SIM Developer or Solution Architects who can bring value to the team and act as key contributors in our PLM projects. You will be responsible for architectural design, defining system requirements, and ensuring that the technical solution remains aligned with business needs throughout the project lifecycle. Your work will span both delivery and pre-sales activities, including customer discovery, solution development, and stakeholder engagement. Work can be carried out remotely from anywhere in Sweden.

• Leading a team that deliver development, configuration, customization, technical design, code review and release validation on production environment.
• Producing specifications and contributing to PLM system configuration
• Identifying risks and proposing solutions to key stakeholders
• Supporting pre-sales efforts, including custom solution presentations and budget proposals

Your profile

• University degree, preferably in the fields of Computer Science or Engineering
• Demonstrated expertise in developing and deploying solutions based on Windchill.
• Experience in Windchill SIM, Arbortext Publishing Engine and Arbortext Content Delivery is a merit.
• At least 4 years of experience working in a Nordic country
• Proven IT development experience as well as experience of multi-cultural project teams, where parts are located off-site
• Excellent communication skills in English, both orally and written.

It is beneficial if you have strong communication skills in Swedish, both spoken and written. Experience working with Windchill SIM, Arbortext Publishing Engine and Arbortext Content Delivery.+
