Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled PLC Commissioning Engineer / System Integrator to join our automation and robotics engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for commissioning, testing, and integrating industrial automation systems, with a focus on robotic applications in industries such as intralogistics, general manufacturing, and process automation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Programming and commissioning of PLC systems (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi, etc.)
  • Integration of industrial robots with PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems
  • On-site system testing, troubleshooting, and optimization
  • Participation in FAT (Factory Acceptance Tests) and SAT (Site Acceptance Tests)
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams (electrical, mechanical, software)
  • Preparation of technical documentation and commissioning reports
  • Technical support during and after deployment
  • Occasional travel to customer sites (domestic and international)
Requirements:
  • Degree in Automation, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field or relevant technical certification
  • Hands-on experience with PLC programming (preferably Siemens TIA Portal, Allen‑Bradley, or Omron)
  • Understanding of industrial communication protocols (e.g., Profinet, Profibus, EtherNet/IP)
  • Experience with industrial robots (preferably Yaskawa/Motoman) is a strong plus
  • Fluent English – written and spoken
  • Eligible to work in Sweden
  • Willingness to travel up to 30–50% of the time
  • Strong analytical skills, self‑reliance, and a team‑oriented attitude
