Job summary

Sandvik is seeking an experienced Platform Engineer to build and operate self-service integration capabilities for API, messaging, and event-driven solutions. You will implement reusable templates and services that empower development teams to deliver integrations securely and efficiently.

Qualifications

• Hands-on production experience with Azure Integration Services, including Logic Apps, Azure Functions, API Management (APIM), and Service Bus or Event Grid.
• Strong programming skills in C# or Python, combined with the ability to write and troubleshoot Bash and/or PowerShell scripts.
• Experience with integration patterns, including APIs, messaging, event-driven architecture, and API gateways or enterprise integration platforms.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD, deployment automation, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep or similar), and cloud-native environments.
• Experience working with distributed systems and container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with front-end technologies such as React or Angular, and relational and NoSQL databases is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain our self-service integration builder using reusable platform components, templates and shared services for APIs, integrations and event-driven solutions built on top of Azure Integration Services.
• Develop CI/CD pipelines, automation services and utilities that support platform delivery and operations.
• Embed security, logging, reliability, quality and compliance controls into pipelines and templates.
• Translate architecture and technical standards into consistent, production-ready implementation patterns.
• Onboard and support development teams using the platform, improving its capabilities based on their feedback.
• Troubleshoot live integrations and take ownership of platform components in production.
