Job summary

COMSOL is seeking an Experienced Software Engineer to join the Java/.NET Platform team in Stockholm. You will work on runtimes, libraries, build systems, and platform integrations that form the foundation of COMSOL Multiphysics®.

The role focuses on Java and C#, with broad collaboration across operating systems and a long-standing codebase. You will evaluate and integrate new runtime versions, address compatibility issues, and contribute to the evolution of platform capabilities and APIs.

Qualifications

• M.Sc. or equivalent degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or physics.
• Excellent programming skills with proficiency in at least one object-oriented programming language.
• Several years of professional software development experience.

Responsibilities

• Write and review code for multiple platform components.
• Investigate platform and compatibility issues and backport APIs as needed.
• Develop build and platform infrastructure and automate recurring platform tasks.
