Job summary

Froda seeks a Platform Engineer to join the Platform team, the core of our technology stack, ensuring a scalable, secure internal platform for developers.

You'll partner with engineers to provide cloud infrastructure, networks, tools and automation, driving developer experience and enabling rapid, safe product innovation while supporting our AI-enabled initiatives and a Kubernetes-based foundation on Azure.

Qualifications

• Experience in Platform Engineering, Infrastructure, Cloud or DevOps role.
• Solid hands-on experience designing and running production environments in Azure, GCP or AWS.
• Strong understanding of cloud networking (VNETs, DNS, VPN, firewalls).
• Proficiency with IaC tools such as Terraform/Terragrunt.
• Production experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Security-focused practices: IAM, network segmentation, secrets management.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain the internal platform enabling developers to deliver fintech solutions.
• Provide cloud infrastructure, networking, tools, environments, and automation for teams.
• Improve developer experience and collaboration across Froda's Platform team.
• Contribute to secure, scalable, compliant foundations for AI agentic systems.
• Maintain Kubernetes-based platform across product applications.

About the Role

As Froda continues to scale, we're looking for a Platform Engineer to join our Platform team, the team at the heart of our technology. The team's mission is to build and maintain the internal platform that enables and supports our developers to deliver reliable, scalable, and secure fintech solutions efficiently.

In this role, you'll work closely with engineers across Froda to understand their needs and ensure they have the cloud infrastructure, network connectivity, tools, environments, and automation required to succeed. You'll be part of a small, high-impact team that values helping others, simplifying complexity, and improving developer experience through collaboration and support.

Your work will directly impact how quickly and safely our product teams can innovate, making you a key enabler of Froda's growth. You'll also play a central role in building Froda's agentic foundation: the platform that lets AI agents work alongside our engineers in a secure, reliable and compliant way.

The Platform team builds and evolves a scalable internal platform that enables product teams to focus on delivering customer value. We do this by providing self-service capabilities and continuously improving the developer experience.

Underneath it all is an Azure foundation that we own end to end: subscriptions and environments, virtual networks, private endpoints and private DNS, VPN, identity and access, all defined as code. At Froda, the entire platform is standardized on Kubernetes, from core infrastructure to all product team applications, giving us a consistent, scalable foundation and a shared way of working across engineering.

Technologies you'll work with include:

• Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Terragrunt

Key Qualifications

Experience:

• Experience in Platform Engineering, Infrastructure, Cloud or DevOps role

Skills & Tools:

• Cloud Platforms: Solid hands-on experience designing and running production environments in Azure, GCP or AWS.
• Networking: Good understanding of cloud networking - virtual networks and subnets, routing, private endpoints, DNS, VPNs, firewalls and load balancing.
• Infrastructure as Code: Experience with Terraform or similar IaC tools.
• Containers & Orchestration: Strong understanding of Docker and Kubernetes in production.
• Security: Experience with cloud security in practice: identity and access management, network segmentation, secrets management and shared responsibility models.
• Monitoring & Observability: Experience with tools that support proactive issue detection and team visibility.
• CI/CD: Familiarity with build and deployment pipelines; experience with GitOps is a plus.
