Job summary

DigiTech Search is seeking an experienced Platform Engineer to develop and operate the infrastructure behind a critical FinTech platform. You will help teams build, deploy and run secure services handling high-volume transactions with a focus on availability and security.

You will design cloud and container platforms, implement IaC with Terraform/Ansible, and advance CI/CD pipelines and GitOps processes while improving observability and incident handling across the stack.

Qualifications

• Professional experience in platform engineering, DevOps, SRE, cloud engineering or infrastructure engineering.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and containerised environments.
• Experience using Terraform, Ansible or comparable Infrastructure-as-Code technology.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD, deployment automation and modern development workflows.
• Experience with AWS, Azure or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of Linux, networking and cloud security.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools.
• Professional fluency in English (Swedish is desirable).

We are looking for an experienced Platform Engineer to help develop and operate the infrastructure behind a business-critical financial technology platform.

You will work at the intersection of cloud infrastructure, automation, developer experience and operational reliability. Your work will enable engineering teams to build, deploy and operate secure services supporting high-volume financial transactions.

Experience in any of the following areas would be beneficial:

• Payments, banking, FinTech or financial services
• High-volume or transaction‑critical technology platforms
• GitLab, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD or other GitOps tooling
• Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, ELK or similar observability platforms
• PCI DSS, DORA or another regulated technology environment
• Kafka, RabbitMQ or event‑driven distributed systems
• Backend development using Java, Kotlin, C#, Go or Python

Direct payments experience is not essential. We are also interested in engineers from e-commerce, retail technology, telecommunications and other environments where security, scalability and availability are critical.
