Qualifications

• Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Physics, or similar.
• Strong written and verbal communication in English and Swedish.
• Solid knowledge in microwave systems and RF engineering principles.
• Background in electromagnetic field theory and computational electromagnetics.
• 4-year Bachelor's degree accepted if education earned outside Sweden.

Responsibilities

• Take courses at an advanced level within the Graduate school of Electrical Engineering.
• Take courses at an advanced level within the DISASTER-CARE Graduate School in Disaster Medicine.
• Develop scientific concepts and communicate results verbally and in writing.
• Teach at undergraduate level up to 20% of time or perform other duties.
• Conduct research on microwave-based diagnostic methods for disaster and emergency care.
• Design, model, and evaluate sensors, measurement systems, and algorithms for microwave diagnostics.
• Plan and carry out experiments in lab environments and realistic testing settings.
