Job description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Pega Developer (PCSSA) to join our client's team in Stockholm. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands‑on experience in designing, developing, and implementing enterprise applications using the Pega platform. You will work closely with business stakeholders, architects, and cross‑functional teams to deliver scalable and high‑quality solutions while adhering to Pega best practices and agile methodologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and implement applications using the Pega Platform.
  • Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements.
  • Develop scalable and reusable components following Pega best practices and component‑based architecture.
  • Participate in end‑to‑end system implementation, including design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
  • Design and implement API integrations with internal and external systems.
  • Work with relational databases (SQL) for data modelling, queries, and integrations.
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards and quality guidelines.
  • Collaborate within multi‑developer Pega teams and contribute to technical design discussions.
  • Support deployment activities and troubleshoot issues across environments.
  • Work in an Agile environment (SAFe/Scrum) and actively participate in sprint ceremonies.
Mandatory Requirements
  • Pega Certified Senior System Architect (PCSSA) certification or higher.
  • Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience working as a Pega Senior System Architect (SSA).
  • Proven experience in Pega application development and system implementations.
  • Experience working on large‑scale Pega development initiatives involving multiple developers.
  • Strong experience with APIs, integrations, and deployment processes.
  • Hands‑on experience with relational databases, particularly SQL.
  • Component-based architecture
  • Reusability and modular design principles
  • Practical experience working in SAFe and/or Scrum environments.
  • Professional proficiency in Swedish and English, both written and spoken.
  • Ability to work onsite at the client office in Stockholm 2–3 days per week.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Experience working in large enterprise environments and cross‑functional teams.
