Job summary

Qualifications

A degree in engineering, physics, computer science, electrical engineering or a related technical field.
Experience in patent work, e.g. as patent attorney/engineer; European Patent Attorney is an advantage.
Strong analytical and attention-to-detail skills with a practical problem-solving approach.
Ability to manage several tasks, work independently and collaborate across teams and countries.

Responsibilities

Identify and develop patentable inventions with inventors and technical teams.
Support inventions through the patent process from initial evaluation to international filings.
Prepare and manage patent applications with colleagues, law firms and patent offices worldwide.
Make value-based decisions on filing and prosecution strategies based on business/technical value.
Contribute to opposition, invalidation, and patent assertion activities; assist licensing and negotiations.
