Job summary

Nouryon AB is seeking an OT Systems Engineer to support and develop control systems in Stenungsund. The role involves maintaining process control products, ensuring system integrity, and providing 24/7 support.

Ideal candidates should have a university degree in engineering, experience in process control and the chemical industry, and skills in English and Swedish. We offer a permanent position with benefits beyond salary including bonuses and healthcare allowances.

In your future role as OT Systems Engineer you will

• Provide maintenance support of the Process Control System, Safety Instrumented System, and data historians at the sites within the region.
• Ensure overall high level of system integrity by executing required system maintenance such as software and hardware upgrades and backups.
• Implement required programming and configuration changes to support continuous improvement.
• Support capital projects at the sites.
• Create and support the sites' strategic control system lifecycle plan.
• Support implementation and maintenance of alarm management processes.
• Maintain sites' SIS, including responsibility for SIF proof testing.
• Work effectively within site teams.
• Prioritize workload to provide timely and effective support.
• Ensure 24/7 availability of the team to minimize system impact.

We believe you bring

• University degree in engineering or a technical field, preferably within automation or IT
• Experience in process control management and maintenance, including control system design and implementation
• Experience within the chemical or refining industry
• Hands‑on experience with control systems
• Good knowledge of English and Swedish, both written and spoken

Great if you have

• Experience with Statistical Process Control and alarm rationalization
• Experience with Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS)
• Experience with HAZOP, LOPA and SIL
• Experience with communication protocols such as Modbus and OPC (UA)
