We are seeking a OneStream Solution Lead – Forecasting & Extended Planning to own and evolve forecasting, planning, and extended planning & analytics capabilities within a mature, enterprise-scale OneStream environment.
This role sits within a central OneStream Centre of Excellence supporting a large, complex international organisation. It is a senior individual contributor position with significant functional ownership, acting as the primary partner to Group Management Control, operational data teams, and global business stakeholders.
While the consolidation environment is critical, this role is specifically focused on forward-looking processes: forecasting, scenario modelling, profitability, and operational planning. You will ensure that granular operational data is transformed into meaningful, scalable planning and decision-support solutions, aligning business ambition with platform capability.
You will work closely alongside the Global Solution Lead for Consolidation and report into the broader OneStream leadership structure.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the functional design, optimisation, and ongoing evolution of Forecasting and xP&A solutions on the OneStream platform
- Act as the primary partner to Forecasting and xP&A business owners across Group Control, operational finance, and supply chain functions
- Translate business requirements into scalable OneStream designs supporting forecasting, scenario planning, and operational insights
- Design and maintain structured documentation covering forecasting processes and related OneStream configurations
- Produce functional specifications and impact assessments for proposed enhancements and new initiatives
- Develop continuous improvement plans aligned with business priorities and platform capabilities
- Conduct feasibility studies assessing complexity, effort, and system impact for medium to large change initiatives
- Create mock-ups and prototypes to explore and validate solution designs with business stakeholders
- Ensure governance, data quality, and change management standards are upheld across planning and forecasting processes
- Monitor system performance and provide third-level functional support, coordinating with technical teams where required
- Contribute to enterprise-wide reporting and planning governance frameworks and standardisation efforts
- Support post-change evaluations, performance monitoring, and insight-led recommendations
- Develop training materials and provide guidance to drive adoption and best practice usage
Ways of Working
- You will be part of a small, senior OneStream SME group, each owning distinct functional areas of the platform
- End-user first and second-line support is handled by an external provider
- Complex technical development is led by a dedicated OneStream architect and developer team
- The role is heavily business-facing, focused on solution design, prioritisation, and value delivery rather than technical build
- From time to time, you may act as project lead for medium or large change initiatives

- Comfortable working with granular operational data sets that underpin forecasting and planning models

- Background in a Controller or Management Control role within an international organisation is beneficial
- Certification in OneStream, project management, or agile methodologies is advantageous but not essential
