Job summary

NKT is seeking an Equipment Manager within Offshore Services, Grid Solutions, to own equipment performance, availability, maintenance and development for cable handling equipment across offshore projects. Based in Karlskrona, you’ll collaborate with site teams, suppliers and management to enable reliable operations worldwide.

You bring a technical background and hands-on experience in maintenance planning, supplier coordination and documentation.

Qualifications

• Technical education or equivalent experience within mechanical, electrical, marine, or industrial environments.
• Experience in maintenance, operations, or technical project management.
• Experience in supplier coordination and service follow-up.
• Knowledge of maintenance systems and documentation practices.
• Professional proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute and follow up maintenance activities for cable handling equipment.
• Ensure availability through preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Manage supplier contacts for service, repairs, and investments.
• Coordinate projects related to establishing and developing equipment.
• Maintain documentation and ensure compliance in maintenance systems.
