Job summary

CSL is recruiting a field-based Medical Affairs professional to strengthen our Nordic team. Location: Sweden (Stockholm, Gothenburg or Malmö preferred).

You will be the scientific expert and primary medical interface with healthcare professionals, KOLs, researchers and other stakeholders across the Nordic region. This role involves about 80% customer-facing activity and cross-functional collaboration with Medical Affairs, Commercial, Market Access and Clinical Development to support strategy,

Qualifications

• MD or Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or related field with PhD or equivalent
• Strong ability to interpret and communicate scientific and clinical data
• Experience engaging with healthcare professionals and scientific stakeholders
• Pharmaceutical industry and/or clinical experience is highly desirable
• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
• Fluency in Swedish and English; additional Nordic language skills are a plus

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain trusted relationships with healthcare professionals, researchers, professional associations, and external experts
• Serve as the primary scientific point of contact for healthcare professionals and external stakeholders
• Conduct scientific exchanges and respond to medical information requests
• Lead and support advisory boards, scientific meetings, congresses and educational initiatives
• Develop engagement plans for external experts and support speaker development
• Gather and communicate medical insights to inform strategic decisions
• Support clinical trial feasibility assessments and evidence generation activities
• Stay updated on therapeutic areas, pipeline developments and competition
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Medical Affairs, Commercial, Market Access and Clinical Development
