Job summary

CSL Vifor is seeking a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to act as the scientific interface with HCPs,KOLs, and researchers across the Nordic region. The role is field-based with substantial customer engagement and collaboration with Medical Affairs, Commercial, Market Access, and Clinical Development.

The candidate will build expert networks, support evidence generation, and contribute to launches while maintaining compliance and high scientific integrity.

Qualifications

• MD or Master's in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or related field with a PhD or equivalent.
• Previous experience as MSL, Medical Advisor, Clinical Scientist, or related Medical Affairs role.
• Fluency in Swedish and English; Nordic language skills are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain trusted relationships with healthcare professionals, researchers, associations, and external experts.
• Serve as the primary scientific point of contact for healthcare professionals and external stakeholders.
• Conduct scientific exchanges and provide timely responses to medical information requests.
• Lead and support advisory boards, scientific meetings, congresses, and educational initiatives.
• Develop and execute engagement plans for external experts and speaker development.
• Gather, analyze, and communicate medical insights from the field to inform decisions.
• Support clinical trial feasibility, investigator-initiated studies, and evidence generation.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of assigned therapeutic areas, pipeline developments, and competition.
• Collaborate with cross-functional colleagues across Medical Affairs, Commercial, Market Access, and Clinical Development.
• Contribute to product launch preparation and lifecycle management across the Nordic region.
• Ensure all activities comply with company policies, compliance requirements, and regulations.
