Job summary

Kodalink AB is seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer to join a global technology team in the automotive and powertrain industry. The role focuses on designing, implementing and managing enterprise network infrastructure across a large international organization.

Ideal candidates have strong hands-on experience with network security, automation and modern enterprise networking, plus CCNA/CCNP and the ability to work across international teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field.
• Strong professional experience in network engineering.
• CCNA, CCNP or equivalent certification.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise networking and security.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Network Engineer to join a global technology team within the automotive and powertrain industry.

Please note that we are not able to provide work sponsorship for this role. Candidates must already have valid work authorization in Sweden.

About the Role

You’ll be part of a global network team responsible for designing, implementing and managing enterprise network infrastructure across a large international organization.

The role is ideal for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of network infrastructure, cybersecurity, automation and modern enterprise networking.

Key Areas of Expertise

• 802.1X, NAC & network access control
• Firewalls – FortiGate, Palo Alto or equivalent
• SD-WAN & MPLS
• Network monitoring, troubleshooting & observability
• Network automation & Infrastructure as Code
• Terraform, Ansible, Python or similar
• SDN and modern network automation concepts
  

What we are looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field

• Hands-on experience with enterprise networking and security
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Experience working in international/global environments is a plus
