Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a data science professional to build and maintain Nordic healthcare datasets. You will manage end-to-end data workflows from ingestion to harmonisation and documentation, ensuring high-quality, reproducible data for evidence generation.

You will conduct analyses on patient populations and treatment patterns, contribute to methodological design, and produce clear documentation and reporting. English fluency is required; Nordic language skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Degree in biostatistics, epidemiology, data science, health informatics, public health, computer science, or related field.
• Experience with healthcare data, real-world data, or similar healthcare datasets.
• Strong data integration, management, cleaning and transformation across multiple sources.
• Analytical and statistical experience incl. descriptive, regression and survival analyses.
• Proficiency in SQL, R, Python, and/or SAS.
• Knowledge of ICD, ICD-O-3, SNOMED, ATC coding systems.
• Understanding of healthcare data privacy, governance and regulatory requirements.
• Fluent in English; Nordic language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain integrated healthcare datasets across Nordic countries.
• Manage end-to-end data workflows from ingestion through harmonisation and documentation.
• Ensure datasets are high quality, reproducible and fit for evidence generation.
• Conduct analyses on patient populations, pathways and outcomes.
• Contribute to methodological design including derivations and code lists.
• Produce clear technical documentation, visualisations, and reporting outputs.
• Explore AI-assisted approaches to strengthen data quality checks.
• Adhere to privacy, governance, ethical, and regulatory requirements.
