Job summary

Neko Health AB is seeking a highly skilled data scientist to lead the statistical and econometric framework for clinical quality across measurements, devices, operators and sites in Sweden. You will tackle observational health data, build checks, and drive end-to-end improvements with clinical and engineering teams.

You will define the always-on quality system, apply fixed effects and natural experiments, and ensure findings translate into practical improvements for patient care.

Qualifications

• PhD in economics, statistics or a related field.
• 3–5 years post-PhD experience with observational data.
• Experience cleaning and assembling real-world health datasets.
• Strong applied methods: fixed effects, panel and repeated-measures data, and natural experiments.
• Ability to write production-quality analysis code and work with engineers.

Responsibilities

• Own the statistical and econometric approach across measurements, devices, operators and sites.
• Lead detection to resolution of quality problems, coordinating clinical, engineering, device and site teams.
• Work with large, messy observational health data and follow-up results.
• Use fixed effects and natural experiments to separate real changes from variation.
• Collaborate with production engineers to move checks into live systems.
• Communicate results clearly to clinicians, engineers and leadership.
