Job summary

AmpsTek is seeking a .NET Backend Developer to design, implement, and optimize high-performance backend services. You will build RESTful APIs, manage EF Core data models, and deploy scalable microservices on Azure, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver robust enterprise solutions.

The role emphasizes strong C#/.NET Core expertise, relational databases, and cloud deployment experience to support a diverse client base.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in C# and the .NET Core / ASP.NET Core framework.
• Experience building RESTful APIs and integrating with frontend or external services.
• Strong SQL skills and relational database design.
• Experience with Microservices architecture.
• Hands-on experience deploying to Azure Cloud.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance applications using C# and .NET Core / ASP.NET Core (.NET 6 or .NET 8).
• Build and integrate scalable REST APIs to support frontend applications and external services.
• Implement robust data models and manage database operations using Entity Framework Core (EF Core) and SQL.
• Develop and scale distributed applications leveraging a Microservices Architecture.
• Deploy, monitor, and manage enterprise applications and services on the Azure Cloud platform.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot, test, and optimize application performance.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in C#.
• Extensive experience with .NET Core / ASP.NET Core framework.
• Proficiency in ORM tools, specifically Entity Framework Core (EF Core).
• Demonstrated experience in designing and consuming REST API Development.
• Solid working knowledge of relational databases and SQL.
• Familiarity with designing and deploying applications using a Microservices Architecture.
• Hands-on Azure Cloud Experience (deployment, configuration, and cloud services).
