Thule Group in Hillerstorp is looking for a Mobile App Developer to design and maintain mobile applications primarily in Android using Kotlin. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality user experiences.
You'll ensure stability and performance through troubleshooting and testing while participating in peer code reviews to maintain code standards. If you have a degree in Computer Science and relevant mobile development experience, this is your chance to contribute to impactful products.
Do you want to build mobile experiences that people actually use in their active everyday life? At Thule, we create products and digital experiences that help people bring what they love - safely, securely, and in style.
We’re now looking for a Mobile App Developer to join our team and help shape the future of our mobile applications. You’ll work in a cross-functional environment where hardware, software, and user experience come together to create seamless digital journeys for our customers.
If you enjoy solving real-world problems, care about clean architecture, and want to see your code end up in the hands of thousands of users worldwide, this could be your next step.
As a Mobile App Developer, you will design, develop, and maintain both cross-platform and native mobile applications, with a primary focus on Android development using Kotlin, while also contributing to iOS and Flutter development when needed.
You will work closely with product managers, UI/UX designers, and backend engineers to understand requirements, define solutions, and bring new features to life. A key part of your role will also be ensuring quality and stability, by troubleshooting issues, addressing performance challenges, and resolving security‑related findings as they arise.
Beyond development, you will play an active role in maintaining a strong engineering foundation. This includes writing and executing automated unit and integration tests, keeping technical documentation up to date, and contributing to a smooth and reliable deployment process all the way from internal test builds to App Store releases.
You will also participate in peer code reviews, helping to maintain high standards across the codebase and ensuring consistency, readability, and long‑term maintainability.
To be successful in the role, we believe you have a degree in Computer Science or a related field and solid experience in mobile application development. You are confident in Android development, ideally with Kotlin, and have exposure to iOS development in Swift. Experience in Bluetooth enabled applications is a plus.
You enjoy working in a structured way and take pride in building robust, well‑tested, and maintainable solutions. At the same time, you are pragmatic and adaptable when priorities shift or new challenges emerge.
ou are comfortable collaborating in a cross‑functional environment and can communicate clearly in English, both verbally and in writing. Most importantly, you bring a problem‑solving mindset and a genuine interest in building high‑quality mobile experiences.
At Thule, we believe in strong teamwork both within your own team but also cross functional between teams. We strive to be an open and curious organization, sharing our knowledge and inspiring one another.
Within Thule you will find people who have a passion for the products we make and the outdoor company we are. We share the same values, and we like to have fun. All of our employees have a joint responsibility to maintain that spirit and contribute to it.
