Job summary

Suir Engineering Ltd. is seeking a Mechanical Project Manager to lead a Data Centre project on site in Stockholm, Sweden. You will coordinate design, construction and client interfaces from start to handover, ensuring a smooth delivery.

You will manage staff resources, chair progress meetings, maintain strong client relations and uphold quality control throughout the project lifecycle. A mechanical engineering qualification and proven leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Mechanical trade qualification through Apprenticeship or Engineering qualification.
• Proven experience in managing a project from scoping out project requirements to completion and delivery.
• Proven experience in managing, coordinating, and developing staff.
• Experience in supporting a continuous improvement culture amongst the project team.
• Awareness of BIM technologies where relevant.
• Awareness of Engineering processes and best practice.

Responsibilities

• Oversee construction projects from beginning to end.
• Coordination of all design works and interfaces with third-party stakeholders.
• Maintain excellent client relationships from start to handover and act as client ambassador.
• Chair handover of project from estimating to construction teams.
• Staffing coordination and recruitment planning for project staff and operatives.
• Ensure quality control audits are carried out on site per design plan.
• Hold weekly progress meetings with subcontractors and discuss safety and training.
• Maintain strong client relations from project start to completion.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Mechanical Project Manager to join Suir Engineering Ltd. The position will be based on a Data Centre Project in Stockholm, Sweden.

What you will be doing?

• Oversee Construction Projects from beginning to end.
• Co-ordination of all design works & Interfaces with all third party stakeholders
• Maintaining excellent working relationships with Client form project start to handover; acting as ambassador with Clients and all other stakeholders.
• Arrange and chair handover of project from estimating department to construction team.
• Liaise with Project Director and Operations Director in staffing of project and agree on a recruitment plan for staff and operatives particular to your staff.
• Ensure audits are carried out by the person responsible on site for Quality Control in accordance with the design plan (if applicable).
• Hold weekly progress meetings with sub-contractors and ensure that safety and training are discussed.
• Maintain excellent working relationships with the client from project start up to project completion,
