Job summary

ArgusEye seeks a Mechanical Product Development Engineer to lead hands-on mechanical design of sensor hardware for biopharma applications. You will work across concept to prototyping, testing and production, delivering robust, manufacturable solutions while maintaining CAD models, drawings, and documentation.

The role emphasizes ownership, collaboration with software and sensor teams, and a path to broader responsibilities in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in mechanical engineering or closely related field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant industrial experience in mechanical design.
• Strong practical experience with CAD tools, preferably SolidWorks.
• Good knowledge of GD&T (ISO GPS) and manufacturing processes.
• Experience with PLM/PDM and creating manufacturing drawings.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical components, assemblies and hardware systems using CAD tools (SolidWorks).
• Create production-ready technical drawings using GD&T (ISO GPS).
• Turn concepts into manufacturable designs and specify materials/processes.
• Manage CAD data, drawings, BOMs, revisions and product structures in PLM/PDM.
• Collaborate with suppliers, prototypes, testing and production teams.
• Build prototypes, support testing, verify designs and troubleshoot issues.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of hardware development processes.
