Job summary

ALTEN Sweden in Örebro is seeking a Mechanical/Electrical Design Engineer to develop, test, and optimize mechanical and electrical systems for clients across industries.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, perform CAD design and simulations, and ensure regulatory compliance to standards like IEC, IEEE, and ISO.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 1 year hands-on experience in electrical system design, testing or troubleshooting.
• Swedish language skills are a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

• Create and refine mechanical and electrical designs using CAD tools (AutoCAD, Creo).
• Perform schematic design and component selection for electrical systems.
• Ensure designs comply with IEC, IEEE, ISO and regulatory safety/efficiency standards.
• Run simulations (MATLAB, Teamcenter) to validate designs and improve performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage projects from concept to completion.

Job description

We are seeking a Mechanical/Electrical Design Engineer with expertise in CAD design, simulation, and compliance to join our team at ALTEN Sweden in Örebro. In this role, you will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop, test, and optimize mechanical and electrical systems for clients in industries such as manufacturing, engineering, and life sciences.

ABOUT THE ROLE
