Job summary

ALTEN is seeking an engaged Electrical/Electronic Project Engineer to join our team in Sweden. You will work across the full lifecycle of electrical and electronic systems, from design to implementation, and collaborate cross-functionally to drive projects forward.

You will plan, design, and execute projects, prepare documentation, manage schedules and resources, and support installation and commissioning. Fluency in Swedish is a plus; 4+ years experience and a degree are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronic Engineering.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant work experience.
• Strong experience with EPLAN, AutoCAD Electrical, or E3.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, develop, test, and implement electrical/electronic systems and components.
• Prepare technical documentation, reports, and analyses using relevant tools and software.
• Develop project plans including schedules, cost estimates, and resource allocation.
• Monitor project progress and performance, taking action to resolve issues and minimize delays.
• Coordinate activities internally and with external stakeholders, including contractors.
• Support installation, testing, and commissioning of infrastructure, equipment, and systems.
• Contribute to engineering standards, specifications, and best practices.

Role Description

As an Electrical / Electronic Project Engineer, you will be responsible for planning, designing, and executing engineering projects related to electrical and electronic systems, including automation. The role involves both technical expertise and project coordination to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, design, develop, test, and implement electrical/electronic systems and components
• Prepare technical documentation, reports, and analyses using relevant tools and software
• Develop project plans including schedules, cost estimates, and resource allocation
• Monitor project progress and performance, taking action to resolve issues and minimize delays

We are looking for you who have (must have):

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 4 years of relevant work experience
• Strong experience with tools such as EPLAN, AutoCAD Electrical, or E3

It would be a great plus if you have:

• Fluent Swedish
• Experience in project engineering and cross-functional collaboration
• Experience working with automation systems or complex infrastructure projects
