Mechanical Design Engineer Nordic Water Products, Mariestad
As a design engineer within ORE at Sulzer/Nordic Water, you will primarily work on adapting products and machines in customer projects. This may also include combining several different machines into project-specific solutions and customer-adapted layouts during the sales phase.
You will also work on maintaining and updating manufacturing documentation and technical documentation in the form of exploded views and dimensional drawings for machines in production. You are responsible for delivering a complete BOM (Bill of Materials) and drawing package for the machines to be produced in customer projects.
You will be responsible for developing functional, documented, and quality-assured project-specific solutions within customer orders and projects.
Your work will involve close collaboration with project management, purchasing, aftermarket, and sales departments. You will handle technical inquiries from sales offices both in Sweden and internationally. You will work in an international team with colleagues based in both Sweden and India.
The main tools used are Inventor/Vault, as well as the Office suite and our ERP system Pyramid.
You will continuously work on improving processes, routines, and tools, as well as quality enhancements and cost reductions.
The position is based at our office in Mariestad, Sweden.
Experience in leading development projects or customer adaptations from concept to finished product is considered an advantage.
