Job summary

Camfil is looking for a Material Research Manager MCC / Adsorbents to lead the development, qualification, and governance of materials used in our global Molecular Contamination Control business at our TechCenter in Trosa, Sweden.

You will lead a team of scientists and engineers, shaping material strategy and supplier qualification, while collaborating with Product Management, Operations, Sourcing, and R&D across the globe to push forward our filtration technology.

Qualifications

• MSc or PhD in Materials Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in materials development, filtration or adsorption technologies.
• Demonstrated people leadership experience, minimum 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing materials team.
• Own the MCC materials roadmap and innovation pipeline.
• Drive development and qualification of adsorbents and molecular filtration media.
• Lead technical supplier qualification and material governance.
• Support product development, manufacturing, and customer-facing technical activities.
• Build external partnerships with universities, research institutes, and technology providers.

Camfil is looking for a Material Research Manager MCC / Adsorbents to lead the development, qualification, and governance of materials used in our global Molecular Contamination Control (MCC) business to our TechCenter in Trosa, Sweden

In this role, you will lead a team of scientists and engineers while driving material strategy, innovation, supplier material qualification, and technical excellence across our MCC materials portfolio. You will work closely with Product Management, Operations, Sourcing, and R&D teams globally to ensure Camfil remains at the forefront of molecular filtration technology.

• Strong technical, strategic, and communication skills.
• Fluent in English. Additional languages are beneficial.
