Job summary

Hitachi Energy Sweden AB is seeking a Material Planner for HVDC Control & Protection. You will manage material for dedicated projects, plan production orders, and ensure timely delivery from project start to shipping to site.

The role offers learning opportunities, a flexible team culture, and collaboration across engineering, production, and procurement. We value 3–5 years of industry experience, a scientific/technical background, and fluency in English and Swedish.

Qualifications

• At least 3–5 years of experience in the industry.
• Educational background in scientific or technical subject.
• Knowledge in SAP (SAP4Hana) to perform production orders and material stock status is advantageous.
• Experienced with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Power Point etc.).
• Experience with data analysis and project management related work is meriting.

Responsibilities

• Create purchase requests and follow up on delivery with SCM.
• Plan and release material for production.
• Coordinate with project, production planner and warehouse to ensure material is in the right place on time.
• Communicate with cross-functional teams at all levels of the business.
• Proactively propose improvements to processes and ways of working.
