Qualifications

Resin and Ligand Design is a department (~120 persons) that belongs to the Resin Technologies R&D. Typical products developed from the department are chromatography resins and other consumables used in BioPharma manufacturing.

We are now looking for a Master level applicant within the field of organic chemistry. You will, as part of R&D, contribute to the development of disruptive products which are used in the manufacturing of leading biological drugs.

What You’ll Do

This position has a strong focus on synthesis work in lab scale and hence the person suited for this opening should enjoy working in a chemistry lab.

Perform experimental work within the area of surface chemistry

• Independently plan and accomplish given tasks, to reach given project objectives
• Independently solve problems of "trouble shooting character" in project work
• Document and report results both orally and in a written form
• Conduct all tasks within the framework of Cytiva policies and guidelines

• Hands on experience with working with polysaccharides is a plus
