Sway Sourcing Sweden Aktiebolag in Fagersta, Sweden, seeks a Master Scheduler to drive supply and production planning. The role focuses on translating demand into actionable short- and mid-term production plans, coordinating with planning teams, and ensuring capacity meets production needs.

We are looking for a Master Scheduler for a long-term assignment in Fagersta. This role is ideal for someone with experience in supply planning, production and capacity planning, S&OP, and Advanced Planning Systems (APS).
As Master Scheduler, you will execute supply plans for production facilities and continuously adjust them based on actual requirements. You will play a key role in balancing demand and available capacity to optimize service levels, working capital, and production efficiency.
You will work closely with Supply Planning, Demand Planning, Production Planning, New Product Development, and other stakeholders across the supply network.
Together with Supply Planners, you will translate supply requirements into detailed short- and mid-term production plans, ensure capacity availability, and make sure the right products are produced at the right time.
The role also includes monitoring supply performance, identifying potential disruptions, performing root cause analysis, and driving corrective actions together with relevant stakeholders.
Execute and monitor end-to-end Purchase Orders (PO), Manufacturing Orders (MO), and Distribution Orders (DO).
Execute supply plans for production facilities and adjust plans based on actual requirements.
Translate supply requirements into granular short- and mid-term production plans.
Balance required and available production capacity.
Ensure the right products are produced according to supply requirements.
Support the S&OE process, including priority alignment, supply planning, and delivery commitments.
Monitor order accuracy and compliance with global standards.
Work closely with Supply Planning, Demand Planning, Production Planning, and other stakeholders.
Identify potential disruptions and adjust supply plans proactively.
Monitor key performance indicators and take corrective action when performance deviates from targets.
Perform root cause analysis and prioritize improvement activities.
Support standardization and automation of global order management processes.
We are looking for someone who has:
At least 2 years of experience in a similar or related role.
Proven understanding of Supply Planning, Inventory Management, and S&OP.
Understanding of how supply planning and inventory management impact financial targets.
Experience with production and capacity planning.
Hands-on experience working with multiple stakeholders to resolve exceptions and identify the best alternatives.
Experience working with ERP systems and Advanced Planning Systems (APS).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Professional proficiency in English.
