Job summary

Berg Propulsion in Sweden seeks a Contract Engineer to translate contracts into deliverables, coordinate with sales, production and customers, and ensure timely, compliant project execution. You will lead technical discussions and manage customer orders with strong collaboration across departments.

Applicants should hold MSc or BSc in Engineering, have 5–10 years' experience (marine exposure preferred), and be fluent in Swedish and English.

Qualifications

• MSc or BSc in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 5–10 years of professional experience, with 3 years in marine industry preferred.
• Experience with system integration or automation.
• Proven ability to read electrical drawings and interpret technical diagrams.
• Fluent Swedish and English (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• Drive efficient order management and project planning.
• Coordinate across sales, production and customers to ensure contractual delivery.
• Review and manage integration of complex electrical systems from order to delivery.
• Manage large contract orders for public and government clients.
• Collaborate with subcontractors to ensure correct delivery scope.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation for customers.
• Collaborate with service organization to enable installations and provide technical support.
• Develop technical solutions such as shaft arrangements and related design data.
