Incluso seeks a Manufacturing Engineer – Laser Cleaning & Welding in Gothenburg to develop and industrialize laser-based processes for high-voltage battery assembly. The role is 100% onsite in Gothenburg (Torslanda) with ASAP start and a 1.5-month contract to begin with.

You will own process development, define CTQs, lead trials, and coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure robust, scalable manufacturing solutions for electric vehicle applications.

Qualifications

• Senior level experience in automotive or battery manufacturing environments.
• Proven ability to industrialize laser cleaning/welding processes.
• Experience with process validation, CTQs and weld acceptance criteria.
• Collaborates effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

Responsabilités

• Own laser cleaning and laser welding process development.
• Define process sequence, parameters, CTQs and acceptance criteria.
• Assess materials, joint design and heat input for robustness.
• Specify laser source, optics, safety, and traceability needs.
• Lead trials, DOE activities and verification plans.
• Coordinate fixturing, clamping and tolerance requirements with engineers.
• Support RFQ prep, supplier reviews and design reviews.
• Drive risk assessment and corrective actions during ramp-up.
