Outokumpu Press Plate in Avesta is recruiting for a combined Managing Director & Production Manager role to lead a small but highly specialized team. We have unique processes and strong expertise that make our plates stand out for their quality.
Press Plate is one of two subsidiaries within Outokumpu Avesta. We make customized press plates, ready‑to‑use plates for the hardboard industry and semi‑finished plates for the laminate industry. All manufacturing is customer‑driven, which places high demands on precision, safety and quality. We are 24 employees working closely together through all steps of production. This creates a strong team spirit, short decision paths and good opportunities for development.
As Managing Director & Production Manager you are responsible for the whole company – both daily operations and long‑term development. Safety, quality and efficiency are always at the center of your work.
