Job summary

Greif is hiring a maintenance electrician for the steel drum department in Falkenberg, Sweden. You will develop and execute preventative electrical maintenance to maximize production availability, troubleshoot and repair electrical issues, and work with production to implement improvements.

The role is full-time with two shifts in a state-of-the-art operation and a comprehensive benefits package. English or Swedish communication is required, and apply via the career page as soon as possible.

Qualifications

• Trained electrician with 5–10 years in automated environments.
• Experience with PLC-based control and preventative maintenance.
• Strong mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Develop, plan and conduct preventative electrical maintenance on machines and equipment to improve availability.
• Troubleshoot, perform electrical repairs and maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with production to implement machine improvements.
• Record activities in the maintenance system and order spare parts.
