  • Inspect electrical equipment, machinery, transformers, switchgear, protection relays, and MV/HV substations to ensure safe and efficient operation.
  • Troubleshoot electrical faults using technical drawings, MV/HV schematics, protection documentation, and diagnostic equipment.
  • Repair and replace faulty electrical components, including wiring, breakers, control panels, switchgear, motors, and transformers.
  • Perform MV/HV switching operations in compliance with Swedish regulations, ESA requirements, and Stegra authorization procedures.
  • Ensure a safe working environment by following electrical codes, safety regulations, LOTOTO procedures, and proper use of PPE.
  • Document maintenance activities, switching operations, and LOTOTO procedures.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and other functions to continuously improve maintenance and reliability.
Whatyou’ll bring:

  • Relevant certifications and training for MV/HV electrical work in accordance with Swedish regulations (e.g. ESA and high‑voltage switching authorization).
  • 3+ years of experience as an industrial electrician in heavy industry, preferably within steel, mining, pulp, paper, or similar process industries.
  • Proven experience in maintaining, troubleshooting, and operating medium‑ and high‑voltage systems, including switchgear, transformers, and protection systems.
  • Strong knowledge of LOTOTO procedures and a solid understanding of Swedish and EU electrical and work environment regulations.
  • High safety awareness with the ability to work independently in high‑risk MV/HV environments and make sound decisions when needed.
  • Structured, detail‑oriented, and self‑motivated, with a collaborative mindset and strong problem‑solving skills.
  • Physically capable of working at heights, in challenging industrial environments, and handling MV/HV equipment and protective gear.
  • Good communication skills in English; Swedish language skills are considered a plus.
