Job summary
Scania Industrial Maintenance AB in Södertälje is seeking a maintenance engineer to join the machine procurement team within the technology and projects department. You will work with production technology groups and project managers to ensure equipment meets technical regulations and supports future production updates.
The role offers opportunities to influence procurement, maintenance planning, spare parts structures, and handover of new production equipment, with collaboration across sites in
Qualifications
- University or master’s degree in mechanical engineering, electrical and automation, or maintenance engineering.
- Previous experience as a production technician or maintenance engineer is a merit.
- Knowledge of reading drawings, pneumatics, hydraulics, and mechanics.
- Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office 365; fluent in Swedish and English.
Responsibilities
- Ensure procured equipment meets Scania’s technical regulations for production and maintenance.
- Define requirements for operational reliability and maintainability in procurements.
- Translate requirements into the machine investment process and conduct reference visits.
- Create the first maintenance plan with local maintenance, review spare parts structures, and hand over new equipment.
