Job description

Infinite motion for the future. InfiMotion Technology is a leading developer and manufacturer of high-performance Electric Drive Units (EDU) for the global electric and hybrid vehicle markets. By managing the entire value chain—from core components and software to final assembly—we deliver propulsion solutions that are efficient, intelligent, and sustainable. This mission is supported by a global team of more than 6,000 experienced employees. The headquarters is situated in Wuxi, China and in June 2022 we launched our Swedish office. Our European hub oversees R&D and sales.

We are now establishing an aftermarket analysis function at the Älvängen workshop. This is a unique opportunity to develop and lead our analysis and workshop functions, creating the foundation for future success. At us trust and effective communication shape the cornerstone of our culture. Here, you're not just joining a team; you're adding value. If you're seeking to be part of a flexible and dynamic environment, we invite you to submit your application today!

Responsibilities

Are you our next lead for analysis & workshop operations, ready to build, lead, and develop a key function in Älvängen?

In this role, you bring together operational leadership, technical analysis, and commercial responsibility to develop and drive analysis operations across new development, testing, and aftermarket. The goal is to establish a scalable and quality‑assured setup that enables both product innovation and aftermarket success.

Tasks will include:
  • Lead and drive the establishment of the functions in Älvängen, including building the organisation, ways of working, and technical process flows
  • Responsible for developing, implementing, and continuously improving processes and routines within analysis, testing, and workshop operations
  • Full personnel responsibility, including leadership, development, and recruitment of technical and engineering staff
  • Ensure competence supply through recruitment of engineers and technical specialists within testing, verification, and analysis
  • Budget responsibility with focus on cost‑efficient operations and resource optimisation
  • Responsible for the site’s work environment, including systematic occupational health and safety work and ensuring a safe test and workshop environment
  • Ensure that the organisation delivers according to requirements regarding quality, timelines, and technical results within new development and aftermarket analysis
  • Actively contribute to and participate in the sales of technical services within analysis, testing, and aftermarket
  • Act as a technical and commercial interface towards internal and external stakeholders
  • Ensure delivery of high‑quality test and analysis results in line with requirements from development and aftermarket functions
  • Achieve targets related to quality, delivery precision, and technical reliability
  • Ensure a cost‑efficient and scalable operation aligned with growth and business needs
  • Contribute to business development by identifying and driving new opportunities within analysis and testing services
We are looking for

Someone with a natural passion for technical and operational environments, where analysis, leadership, and development come together. To be successful in the role you come from the automotive industry, ideally with experience in testing, validation, verification, or aftermarket analysis. If you have experience in powertrain systems it is a strong advantage, especially within electrification and electric drivetrains. We believe that you have a degree in engineering (mechanical, automotive, mechatronics, or similar).

To succeed you have a solid understanding of how technical development and test environments work in practice. You are comfortable producing clear and structured technical reports and have experience with budget responsibility and business performance.

You have led people before and take pride in developing teams and individuals. Experience in customer‑facing technical roles, where you bridge technical solutions and customer needs, is a plus.

Given the international nature of our business, you communicate confidently and professionally in English, both verbally and in writing.

To thrive in this role you are structured enough to manage multiple tasks and at the same time enjoy the fast moving pace and changes that comes with joining a growth company!

We offer you

An opportunity to be an integral part of business development and growth, then you've come to the right place. Here, you'll embark on an exciting journey within one of the automotive industry's most progressive and hottest topics. From conceptualisation and development to production and sales, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the entire lifecycle of our products.

Our company embraces diversity and celebrates multiculturalism, fostering an environment where everyone's perspectives are valued and respected.

Moreover, teamwork is at the heart of everything we do. As a small company within a larger context, we work closely as a team. We collaborate closely on projects and support one another's growth and development. Whether it's participating in regular social events like after‑work gatherings, group workouts, breakfasts and coffee breaks together, you'll find that camaraderie and collaboration are central to our workplace culture.

Our Office

The InfiMotion office is conveniently located within the Uni3 campus at Pumpgatan 1, on Lindholmen in Gothenburg. The office is easily accessible by car, bus, or the newly introduced ferry service.

For those driving, there are parking facilities available around Lindholmen. Please note that ongoing extensive roadworks are in progress to enhance future tram connections which may cause delays and inconvenience.

If you prefer public transport, simply get off at Pumpgatan or Regnbågsgatan when taking the bus. Alternatively, for ferry commuters, you'll get off at the Lundbystrand ferry terminal.

Hiring process

If you're ready to join a dynamic team where you can make a meaningful impact while enjoying a supportive and inclusive culture, then we invite you to be part of our exciting journey forward. With the summer vacation period coming up, there may be a longer response time than usual. We will review applications and continue the recruitment process in August and look forward to getting back to you then!
