Job summary

Integro Consulting AB is seeking a Functional Safety Engineer to lead safety activities for the Electromobility platform. You will drive concepts, set requirements, and verify safety across the product lifecycle.

You will need a 5+ year background in automotive functional safety, strong ISO 26262 knowledge, and English fluency. Collaboration and proactive problem solving are essential in a fast-paced dev environment.

Qualifications

• M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, Mechatronic or similar.
• 5+ years of experience in system development and functional safety per ISO 26262, preferably automotive.
• Knowledge of safety standards across product lifecycle (ISO 26262, IEC 61508, ISO 13849).
• Cybersecurity standards knowledge (ISO 21434, UN R155) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead functional safety activities: Safety Plan, HARA, TARA, FSC, TSC, and requirements allocation.
• Develop and verify Functional Safety work products.
• Coach team on ISO 26262 and safety culture; represent team in safety forums.
• Support verification reviews (VR), confirmation reviews (CR) and safety assessments.
• Monitor system changes for FuSa products and perform impact analysis.
