Job summary

DigitalRoute is rebuilding its Usage Engine frontend, a Kubernetes-native, streaming-first platform with a graph-based workflow editor. You will own the frontend architecture, steer design decisions, and guide a small, highly technical team across Stockholm and Gothenburg.

You'll work with Svelte 5, SvelteKit, TypeScript, and Vite, shaping UI for performance, accessibility, and integration with REST APIs and a Vert.x backend. Collaboration with PMs, UX, and backend teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience as a frontend architect or lead frontend engineer on complex, data-heavy applications.
• Deep hands-on experience with TypeScript and modern component frameworks.
• Experience building interactive canvas or graph-based interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and build of a demanding web application: a graph-based workflow editor with automatic layout.
• Own the frontend architecture and technical direction for a Svelte 5, SvelteKit, TypeScript SPA built with Vite.
• Connect with REST APIs served by a Vert.x backend, OIDC auth, and GitOps-config model.
• Shape AI-assisted features in the product; pilot copilots and self-healing pipelines.
• Own quality with Vitest, Playwright, svelte-check and CI gates.
