Job summary

Keysight Technologies is seeking an Expert Forward Deployment Engineer to embed within a customer development program, acting as a software engineer, systems engineer, and deployment lead in one role. You will translate broad concepts into structured, multi-workstream deployment projects and deliver production code in real-world environments.

This role requires deep knowledge of multi-layer protocol stacks (PHY/L1 to L3), strong C/C++ and Python skills, Linux expertise, and willingness to travel

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field is required.
• Strong software development experience across multiple stacks.
• Proficiency in C/C++ and Python, with API development.
• Experience debugging protocol interactions and knowledge of 3GPP specs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Embed within a customer development program as a software engineer, systems engineer, and deployment lead.
• Lead and architect deployment projects across multiple streams for high-impact engagements.
• Develop, validate, and deploy production-quality code that ships in a customer build.
• Write and extend Python APIs that customer teams integrate against and build automation workflows.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the forward deployment engineering team.
