Job summary

Sergel Group is a leading Nordic provider of credit management services, with operations across Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Finland. The role focuses on developing scalable data solutions with autonomy and ownership, driving architectural decisions and improving in-house capabilities.

You will work on data modeling, pipelines, governance and BI integration, collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders to deliver impactful outcomes.

Qualifications

• You are a data engineer with hands-on experience in designing and implementing data-intensive systems.
• You bring strong SQL and programming skills (C#/.NET and Python) to build scalable pipelines.
• Experience with ETL tools, data pipeline frameworks and orchestration is required.
• Knowledge of CI/CD, data governance, GDPR and security best practices is expected.
• Fluency in English and a valid work permit are required.

Responsibilities

• Define and enforce data modeling standards and governance policies.
• Design and maintain scalable data pipelines and optimize ETL processes.
• Build and maintain data ingestion, transformation and delivery apps.
• Drive in-house capability and set technical direction with stakeholders.
• Ensure BI is integrated for trusted reporting and data-driven decisions.
