Job summary

Kintec Global Recruitment is seeking a Senior Cost Specialist to lead cost control activities for multi-discipline construction projects in the oil and gas sector. You will manage budgets, forecasts, and reporting, while guiding less experienced cost engineers and coordinating with client cost control teams.

Eight to eighteen years of site experience are preferred, with strong proficiency in Excel, SAP or similar databases, and advanced cost engineering tools.

Qualifications

• Independent cost control for FEED and large EPC projects.
• Lead and guide junior cost control personnel.
• Contribute to a safe working environment and clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Set up and write an effective cost engineering plan as part of the project controls plan.
• Set up WBS and CBS structures and recast project estimates into budgets.
• Develop cost databases for engineering, procurement, and construction.
• Establish cost trending tools based on earned value principles.
• Prepare cost/quantity analyses and forecasts for completion based on ETC.
