Job summary

Ericsson is seeking two junior Power Designers to join our Power Solutions team in Sweden. You will design and optimize DC/DC converters, run simulations, and verify power systems from bring‑up to product integration. The role blends hands‑on lab work with cross‑team collaboration in a dynamic design environment.

You will work with RF, digital and power teams to address reliability and performance challenges while applying state‑of‑the‑art tools and techniques. Fluency in English is required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Fundamental knowledge of power electronics and analog system design.
• Proven skills in DC/DC converter design.
• Familiarity with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes and loads.
• Experience with LTspice or PSpice simulation tools.
• Proficiency in Python or MATLAB for scripting.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize DC/DC converters and LO regulators to meet targets.
• Run power system simulations from converter level to board distribution.
• Verify board power during bring‑up and compliance phases.
• Work hands‑on in the lab with state‑of‑the‑art equipment.
• Collaborate with Radio design and power teams to resolve issues.
• Drive innovation and stay updated on power design practices.
• Support integration and verification of power solutions in radios.
