Tobii Dynavox is seeking an Industrial Designer to join our team in Sweden. You will participate in the full design process, from research and strategy to ideation, visualization, and product development, collaborating with designers, engineers, and researchers to create accessible, visually compelling solutions.

We value a research-driven mindset, strong CAD/visualization skills, and experience with manufacturing considerations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Industrial Design (internships may be included).
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Design or a related field
• A research-driven mindset and experience conducting and synthesizing user research
• Strong 3D CAD skills, preferably in Rhino or SolidWorks, along with KeyShot
• Strong sketching, visualization, and prototyping skills, including paper mock-ups and 3D printing
• Understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and design for production
• Excellent communication skills in English

Responsibilities

• Support the design and development of AAC devices, mounts, and accessories from concept through refinement
• Create 3D CAD models, renderings, prototypes, and design documentation to communicate design intent
• Collaborate with engineers to translate design concepts into feasible and manufacturable solutions
• Explore colors, materials, and finishes (CMF) and contribute to creating cohesive product experiences
• Participate in user research activities, including field studies and usability testing
• Help document, synthesize, and apply user insights to guide design decisions
• Contribute to packaging and accessory design projects
• Incorporate feedback from stakeholders and iterate designs throughout the development process
• Support other design initiatives and activities as needed

The role

As an Industrial Designer, you will be involved throughout the entire design process—from research and strategy to ideation, visualization, and product development. You'll work closely with designers, engineers, and researchers to create user-centered solutions that are functional, accessible, and visually compelling. Who You Are

• You are a curious and collaborative designer who is passionate about understanding users and turning insights into meaningful products.
• You enjoy working across disciplines and are comfortable balancing creativity, user needs, and technical constraints.

What We're Looking For
