Job summary

Vattenfall seeks a Junior Environmental Products Analyst | Trading Analyst in Stockholm to join the Trading Analysis team. You will deliver fundamental and quantitative insights to support traders and help shape trading strategies for environmental products, including Guarantees of Origin and carbon offsets.

Ideal candidates have a Master’s degree with strong analytical skills, Python experience, and fluency in English; Swedish language skills are a plus.

Qualifications

Master's degree or higher in a quantitative field (business, economics, engineering, mathematics, physics) or related subject.
Strong analytical and communication skills with ability to convey complex analysis clearly.
Experience with market analysis in a commercial or trading setting beneficial.
Python programming and statistical modelling experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

Conduct fundamental and quantitative analysis to support traders and develop trading strategies for environmental products.
Track market and policy developments, identify drivers, develop price views and sensitivity analyses for traders.
Develop and refine environmental product market models and support policy analysis.
Enhance position management and optimization tools for environmental products to aid trading decisions.
Educate traders on environmental products and policy topics.
