Overview

We are looking for a Junior Data Engineer to join our central data team. In this role you will collaborate closely with technical teams and business stakeholders to build and improve our data platform, and play an important part in building the data foundations behind modern AI products and intelligent agents.

Responsibilities

• Support data ingestion and pipeline maintenance using tools such as Airbyte and Dataform
• Write and maintain basic SQL transformations, data models, and data quality checks
• Help structure and document data models, metrics, and business definitions
• Support the development of the semantic layer in Omni
• Investigate data issues and help ensure data is accurate, reliable, and easy to use

Qualifications

• Degree or recently completed studies in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Information Systems, or a related field
• Some knowledge of SQL
• Basic programming experience, preferably in Python
• Interest in databases, data modeling, analytics, and modern data platforms
• Curiosity about semantic layers, metrics, information modeling, and AI‑driven data solutions

Additional Experience (Desirable)

• School projects, internships, thesis work, or personal projects involving data
• Data modeling concepts such as facts, dimensions, entities, relationships, or star schema
• Familiarity with tools such as Omni, dbt, LookML, Cube, BigQuery, Snowflake, Airflow, or similar
• Experience with Git or other version control tools
• Experience with BI tools such as Looker, Tableau, or Power BI

Benefits and Work Environment

Hybrid work policy includes four days in office and Wednesdays as work‑from‑home. We do not offer relocation and a six‑month probationary period applies.
