Job summary

Velory AB in Stockholm is seeking a Junior Data Scientist to enhance their Data & Analytics team. This full-time position offers hybrid working arrangements, allowing you to balance your professional and personal life.

The role involves statistical analysis, dashboard development, and working on various analytics tasks. Candidates should possess a strong foundation in Python, SQL, and data visualization tools. Qualifications

Completed higher education corresponding to at least three years of full‑time studies in computer science, data, engineering or a related technical field.
Working knowledge of Python, SQL, R, or similar tools.
Experience with data visualization or BI tools such as Luzmo, Grafana, or Power BI.
Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
Curious, structured, and able to manage multiple workstreams.
Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Conduct statistical analysis and reporting across product, sales, and finance data.
Develop and standardise dashboards.
Perform web analytics and user behavior analysis.
Query data, support pipelines and enhance backend/frontend applications.
Prepare meetings and support documentation.
